Vicky & Brett E-Session

I caught up with Brett and Vicky for their E-Session on a very hot and windy day at Cottesloe.

Brett & Vicky are getting married in the Margaret River/Dunsborough region in March.

Xpan

At the recent " Life as an Artform" workshop I attended that Jesh De Rox ran I was inspired to start shooting for myself again. At Christmas time we were in Albany relaxing with family so I decided to get the Mamiya RB 67 and the Hasselblad Xpan out for some fun. 

Greg and I headed to Denmark for some early morning light it was beautiful, we first went to Greens Pool and then to Ocean Beach. There is something remarkably relaxing watching surfers catching an early morning wave, with the sun starting to break thru the clouds.

As is tradition if you go to Denmark you have to stop in at the local bakery, they have the best pies.

Later that day I left Greg at home with Bella and headed out with my Pop, Nan & Uncle John for some sunsets shots. I love the golden light on the harbour.

These images remind me how much I miss home not only the scenery but the lifestyle.

All of these images were with the xpan using Fuji Velvia and then scanned.

Disa & Jesse E-Session

Recently I caught up with Disa, Jesse and their two gorgeous boys Bailey & Zacharee in Fremantle for  shoot in preparation of their wedding on the 28th February.

The boys are just naturals in front of the camera.

I am looking forward to seeing all the planning come together this weekend.

Elisha & Ashley E-session

 

Elisha & Ashley are getting married in March at Joondalup Resort.

Recently they were in Perth for a friends wedding so we decided to do a quick shoot in Guildford.

I am looking forward to capturing your day soon. 

Cassandra & Rod 4th January 2009

I love capturing weddings, however it is even more special to capture a friends wedding as was the case with Rod & Cassandra.

Rod and the boys scrubbed up ok and as for the girls what can I say.

Cassandra looked amazing in her dress and birdcage veil.

After the ceremony family and friends gathered at The Wild Fig for a relaxed cocktail reception where the Bella was flowing freely.

Greg, Isabella and I wish you a lifetime of happiness.

Favourites of 2008

At the moment I am going back thru the archives trying to choose my favourites from 2008.

I am getting there slowly so we should see some uploaded in the not to distant future.

Andreia & Vlad 11th January 2009

I first met Andreia & Vlad at the wedding of Andreia's sister Lavinia & Tim 2 years earlier. I remember thinking at the time that they made a gorgeous couple, so I felt honoured to be asked to capture their day.

I started with the boy's getting ready Vlad and the boys looked awesome. Vlad appeared relaxed as he joked with his groomsmen. I left the boys to relax and wait for the limo and made my way to Andreia's parents house, the house was a hive of activity, with all the bridesmaids and interstate guests descending on Mr & Mrs Dee house. 

There were gasps of awe as Andreia walked out of the room for the first time, she really did look like a princess.

Next we had the exchange of flowers, and a prayer before heading to the Romanian Pentecostal Church in Balga for the ceremony. After the ceremony we headed to the South Perth foreshore for some quick photos before heading to the shade of UWA. I am so glad we had the parasols from Bridal Classics they look so romantic in the photo's and kept the sun off.

After UWA it was time to make our way to the  Fremantle Sailing Club for the reception.
