Mulberries are in season

I just had to share Miss Bella's efforts with the Mulberries from our tree, she loves getting outside and up to the tree, to pick the latest fruit, even if it means swinging from the branch to get them down.

Jillian & Adam

Jillian & Adam were married on a fine but windy day at Kings Park. The day started with Jillian and her bridesmaids getting ready at her parents house, where the aroma from the bouquets filled the house, the flowers were from Urban Flowers. Jillian's dress was from Tuscany.

Next it was onto Kings Park where everyone had come out to enjoy the sunshine and wildflowers. Adam and the boys were looking pretty relaxed in their suits from Penguin Suit Hire.

After the ceremony we headed to the blue boatshed, the DNA tower and then walked thru Kings Park before heading to the reception at Kings Park Function Centre (Frasers).

Fathers Day Special

With Father's day fast approaching it is a great time to update the family portraits.

Time to stop and smell the roses

Sustainable Alternatives

I can't lay claim to the garden seen below, my own half acre of paradise looks nothing like this well apart from the vegetable tanks which were supplied by Sustainable Alternatives. No the garden seen below belongs to our very good friend the Elsners. Bernie owns Sustainable Alternatives, whilst Rose makes the most wonderful soaps (not too mention her cooking is amazing).

Recently Bernie & Rose were hosting a few permaculture students for the day, so I thought I would pop up and try and take a few images (plus the offer of lunch was there). Now I have visited "Rosebern" countless times yet as I found myself wandering around the property with Bella I found myself discovering all sorts of suprises like the gazebo covered in bright pink bouganvillea, or the wonderful pieces of garden art.

Bernie is like a kid, he is so passionate about what he does, but he is also an artist which is evident when you see the chicken coops he builds.

Richelle & Daniel

Richelle & Daniel held both their ceremony and reception at Mulberry on Swan.

Richelle walked down the aisle to the sound of bagpipes, after the ceremony we headed into Guildford for some bridal party photo's.

The car belongs to Daniel & Richelle and not been a car person myself I would have to say I was pretty impressed with the 1971 Holden Monaro HG GTS.
